A Door of Hope was founded in 2011 with a vision of providing a home for every child in crisis. Our mission at A Door of Hope is to provide hope for kids in crisis by providing loving, Christian foster homes in Tampa Bay and now serving Manatee, Sarasota, and DeSoto counties. At A Door of Hope, we recruit, train, license, and support Christian foster homes. Our goal is to show the world, through our work, that the message of Christ is the ultimate Door of Hope.

The mission of New Life Village is to provide a supportive environment, within an intergenerational community, for children in need of a safe, stable and permanent family experience. New Life Village, founded in 2012 and is located in Tampa, Florida – an area which is heavily impacted by both an affordable housing and foster care crises. NLV is an intergenerational community designed to support families raising foster-adopt and kinship children who have survived abuse, neglect, and trauma, offering them program-rich, below-market housing and onsite wrap-around services. We offer mission based affordable housing as an incentive to the caregivers and seniors caring for these children. Senior citizens also live in the Village serving as surrogate grandparents, tutors and mentors. The Village promotes permanency, safety, community, healing and caring relationships within a trauma-informed community. NLV hosts an onsite Wellness, Resilience, and Character Development Program. Our holistic community approach leverages the power of place, permanence, and shared social purpose to improve residents’ housing stability, access to health resources, educational attainment, and community connection. We exist to reduce the number of children in foster care by encouraging more families to adopt or to prevent children from entering foster care.

The 1Voice Foundation provides 25 educational, emotional, and recreational programs for pediatric cancer patients and their families in west-central Florida. We fund and operate the only independent pediatric cancer research lab in Tampa Bay, where Cameron Tebbi, M.D., is developing the vaccine for leukemia and receives no compensation for his research work. In August 2021 we partnered with the Hillsborough County Schools to open the 1Voice Academy, the first school in the United States for children with cancer in August 2021.
